(Tamara - pronounced like "tomorrow" with a southern accent). Tamara is Hebrew for "date palm tree".
I am a teacher. I am a writer. I am a mother. I am a lifelong learner. I struggle with finding time for myself. I struggle with trying to break the binding chains of perfectionism. I struggle with believing in myself and my abilities. But, not all the time.
I became a single mother by choice at the age of 40. I planned and saved for my child. I make sacrifices because of my choice. I never knew how much I could truly love another person until my child entered my world.
- I dream of sharing stories that touch others. Stories that make others laugh. Stories that make others cry. Stories that make others think.
- I dream of finding my books in a bookstore.
- I dream of finding my books in the library.
- I dream of raising a strong child in an environment that fosters creativity, sharing, kindness, caring, acceptance, and the belief that we can make do with what we have.
I try not to read as all of these at once, but sometimes separation is challenging.
